I have a thought.

Maybe I should write down some of my life experiences just ‘cause.  I know there most likely won’t be anything exceptionally exciting but there may be something of a little interest.

The lunchtime pizza party

In my early working days, I was in an office where my fellow workers and I would celebrate payday with a takeout meal.  Maybe a sandwich from the best Deli in town may be a pizza from one of the many Italian restaurants around the office area.  This day we decided to call for a pizza from one of the more reliable restaurants.  They always make a good pie and delivery is always prompt.  We would team up with each other and share an order with another person, this time though no one wanted to share their order with the boss.  You see he was someone who ordered everything on his.  When I say everything, the order went something like this.  The person ordering the pizza tells the person at the restaurant he wanted one with everything on it except the kitchen sink.  The restaurant was smart enough to ask for a description of the topping we were looking for.  After our man finished the order receiver said hell you want everything including the kitchen sink and through in the washers as well.  Now this meant that we wanted everything including Anchovies, the washers.  We told the restaurant that we needed the delivery by a specific time and they agreed that we would have it on time; they have about forty-five minutes to make the delivery.  Now it’s time to wait for the call that the delivery has arrived to the building.  As the time for the order to arrive gets close we started to get a little worried, as the time past by we the order placer started to get aggravated as he had to get to a job site right after lunch.  Well as things go, the delivery did not arrive until our lunch break was three quarters over when we received the call to meet the deliveryman at the door.  When the order placer and myself went down to pick up the stack of pies, the order placer paid the deliveryman the exact amount of the order.  The deliveryman expected to receive a tip, so he asked if we had anything for gas.  My partner said sure, reached into his pocket, and handed the deliveryman a roll of Roll Aids.
